Ronaldo appeared to have provided his team’s second goal in the 63rd minute, but his header was acrobatically palmed away by the busy Braga.

With 11 minutes left, Al-Tai did manage to score. Abdulrahman Al-Harthi delivered a superb pass that sent Dutch forward Virgil Misidjan sprinting clear of three Al-Nassr defenders, and he calmly slotted the ball into the net.

A draw seemed likely, but with three minutes remaining, Al-Nassr secured the win as Anselmo handled a Talisca header, and Ronaldo converted from the penalty spot.
