Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has undertaken a significant humanitarian effort by providing emergency shelter and food aid to families affected by Cyclone Tej in Yemen. The operation, initiated on Thursday, encompassed the distribution of 50 tents, 200 shelter bags, and 300 food baskets containing essential supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The relief operation was concentrated in Al-Raydah and Al-Qusayr District in Hadramaut governorate, with 300 families, approximately 1,800 individuals, benefiting from this timely assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In another humanitarian endeavor in Yemen, KSrelief extended support by distributing 2,238 cartons of dates to displaced individuals in Al-Jawf, specifically in the districts of Al-Madina and Al-Wadi in Marib governorate. This assistance reached 13,428 individuals in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
KSrelief’s compassionate reach extended beyond Yemen, as it provided 16,000 cartons of dates to refugee families and the most vulnerable families within the host community in the Danniyeh district, northern Lebanon. This generous act of aid benefited a total of 80,000 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Further exemplifying its commitment to humanitarian assistance, KSrelief in Pakistan delivered 903 food parcels to the Washuk district of Balochistan province. These provisions supported 6,321 individuals in flood-affected areas, demonstrating the organization’s dedication to helping those in crisis-stricken regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
